when i was a small tot, my dad bought for my mom a 35mm minolta camera. my older brother still remembers driving with him to get it. when I was in jr high, she handed it down to me.

after several blissfully youthful years with that trusty minolta, i wanted very much to continue studying photography after high school, but thought it would be More Responsible to get a degree in something like architecture. (which i did.)

over a decade later i have returned to photography full time, in an effort to be more fulfilled creatively, and yearning for more control over my family/career life balance. (having a baby will do that to you. architecture won't help.)

i am available in southern california (and beyond) for family photography, birth photography, and more. please get in touch with me, my rates are very reasonable and i love connecting with nice people. if you care to, you can learn a lot more about me by visiting my blog, a desert fete. and yes, i still sometimes shoot on my mom's old minolta.

i also photograph weddings with my friend michelle as rad + in love.

thanks for stopping by!
